Part 'P'
|
Nash Electrical Services are registered contractors with the newly formed ‘domestic installers scheme’ to ensure that we are in complete compliance with ‘Part P’ which is an addition to the building regulations introduced to enforce by, law that, electrical work undertaken for domestic dwellings is carried out by people who are sufficiently qualified and considered to be competent in that field of work. Registration with this scheme allows us to provide the customer with certificates for our work which will verify the safety and integrity of the work carried out.
Under this new law, where a contractor is not registered with ‘Part P’, the alternative would be to pay a fee to have the work inspected by a local authority building control department, or other approved private sector building inspector.
